Auto-Transformer Phase Converters deliver full rated HP, and can be adjusted to provide current balance at a fixed load. These high efficiency Phase Converters automatically limit inrush currents to three times the normal single phase amperage. They are ideally suited for 460v three phase applications, and are supplied standard as 240v or 480v 1 phase input / 480v 3 phase output. - External step up transformers are not required.

Auto-Transformer Phase Converters -  models suffix "24" are supplied as 240v 1-phase input / 480v 3- phase output, while suffix "44" are rated 480v 1-phase input / 480v 3-phase output.

Models suffix "24" and "44" are supplied in NEMA 3 enclosures and are primarily intended for oil well pumping motors. These converters are a complete power system which includes main breaker, auto-transformer, load magnetic starter and overload protection, H/O/A selector, provision for pressure switch, and surge suppresser.

Models suffix "C" are supplied in either NEMA 1 or NEMA 3 enclosures, are designed to connect to an existing load magnetic starter. Options can include main disconnect or breaker, load magnetic starter, H/O/A selector, or various other client requested components.
